COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD

Community Advisory Board meets on the first Wednesday day of each month.

The City of Kankakee Community Advisory Board (CAB) serves as a bridge between residents and City leadership, ensuring community voices are represented in local decision-making. CAB members are volunteers who share input, identify neighborhood priorities, and help strengthen communication between residents, city departments, and elected officials.

CAB members help shape programs, policies, and initiatives that support a safer, more vibrant, and inclusive Kankakee. Each member represents their respective ward, offering insight on community needs and opportunities for improvement.
